Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born the 16th of April, 1996 in Miami Florida. It is daughter to Dennis Alan Taylor, a former executive in the banking industry and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is a half-Spanish and female who is half English. Their father was Argentine who had Scottish and English ancestral roots. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy, who is the youngest of five kids, and four of them come born from her father's prior marriage. The family lived in Buenos Aires until she was 6 years old. They then relocated to Victoria region in London. Taylor-Joy said the relocation was difficult and she refused to learn English since she was hoping to go back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after switching from Northlands. After that, she attended Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in the school's productions. She left at the age of 16 to go to the school to take on acting as a profession. As a child, Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to pursue a career as an actress. her dream came true when she was approached for modeling work by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
