Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born March 14, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A. In the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in the same Games as well as the first gymnast in history to win three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles was raised within Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area following the time her and her sister Adria were adopted by their grandparents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone began to be interested in gymnastics when she was just six. Her coach Aimee Borman brought her to Bannon's Gymnastix and they took them on a field trip. Biles won the vault and floor exercises at the 2009 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before becoming an highest level of competition in 2011. Within two years, she been the best in this particular event. What set Biles apart was her consistency her flamboyant attitude and the extreme level of difficulty she incorporated into her routines throughout every event - vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise.
