Harry

Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and musician from England. He was one of the members of One Direction. Parents are Des Styles and Anne Cox. He was born on the 1st day of February, 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where together with his three classmates, he founded his own group, White Eskimo. The band won in 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the impressive presentation they made. The musician was always fascinated by music, but also wanted to pursue a career as the profession of a lawyer, physiotherapist, or even a scout. When he worked in the city's bakery Harry Styles could afford to feed his family. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he performed the song Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. For that reason his band were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he be part of a new band, One Direction. The other members were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in the year 2010. They sang the Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would Be Sucky without You as well as Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart during the contest, which allowed them to become the frontrunners to win the competition. The group was placed in third place behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle and were the winners. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell didn't take home the prize. But Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million pound contract to sign up with Syco.
