Lisa Edelstein was an American actress, best known as the star of Fox's House medical show. Growing up in Wayne in conservative Jewish traditions, she moved in New York City at the age of eighteen to study theater at Tisch school of arts. She was soon involved in club culture, causing enough fuss that she caught the interest of the media. She utilised both her training in music and fame to make and appear in a brand new musical called Positive Me. Awake in the Wild Side was her next assignment. Once Awake on the Wild Side stopped airing, she started to act in films and on television, initially in brief parts. As time went on, her work as an actor grew.
