Allison Janney

AllisonAllison Brooks Janney was born in the year 1959, on the 19th November. The actress is an American actor. Her name is well-known due to her work across various kinds of genres, both on screen and stage in a career that spans three decades. Janney was awarded numerous awards, including an Academy Award and a British Academy Film Award. Her work has also received seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Janney was also nominated to Two Tony Awards. Janney was born in Boston as a child, but was raised on the streets of Dayton (Ohio). Janney got a grant to studying at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after graduating from Kenyon College. After years of minor and non-credited television and film appearances her breakthrough came in the role of C. J. Cregg in the NBC dramatic drama The West Wing (1999-2006) in which she won 4 Primetime Emmy Awards.
